![]() ![]() Very fine, modern facilities, in a beautifully-designed building. As I was visiting Nottingham for an event at the University, the location was perfect - though given the good public transport links to the city and East Midlands Airport, this might suit general travellers too. In all a very comfortable stay and made to feel very welcome. Walk through the grounds to Darby road about 10 mins easy walk and catch the bus to the city centre runs every 5 min easier than finding a car park, information and map given to us at reception, there is also a bus near the entrance to the hotel every 30 min. ![]() This hotel deserves its high rating, we only used the restaurant for breakfast which was very good, go later if you can to avoid the rush. This is a great find in the heart of Nottingham university. But the breakfast was excellent with everything being a delight to the eyes, nose and mouth!! Best bread I have had since travelling through france and delicious fruit salad AND crispy black pudding. The rooms were fresh, welcoming and very comfortable with nice toiletries. This hotel exceeded all our expectations and every single thing about it was first class which was even more amazing given its low price point. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nottingham and would also return for another visit. The hotel was very central to Nottingham city centre and we didn't have any problems finding places we wanted to go. As the hotel is sited on a university campus the surrounding areas were nice and peaceful, with a beautiful little park to go for a walk in. The hotel was bright, clean and modern with a great architectural feature in the centre which became a focal point. My elderly mum was in an accessible room which was excellent. The service was prompt without feeling rushed. The food in the restaurant was very good value for money. I slept incredibly well, the bed was really comfortable. I would recommend anyone to stay here, I really enjoyed mybrief st. The rooms themselves were spacious enough with extraspecial attention to the design which makes for a different experience.I could have booked a Premier Inn for the same price but the Orchardhotel was far superior! The internet was slow which I mentioned to thestaff, they responded immediately to the complaint and were genuinelyconcerned. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was great, the foyer design wasreally beautiful. We found hotel ideal for visiting our old friends but found the roadworks, which we gather have been as they are f. Our grandson has just finished his three years at Nottm Uni and can now understand why he was so upset to leave the City and the University. Having lived in Nottingham for 37 years, leaving in1999 and my husband most of his life, it was the first time we had seen most of the grounds. Car park good (we are both disabled) Staff helpful. Convenient, comfortable, reasonably central. The lounge area in reception was modern, clean and the ambiencein the evening very pleasant. Clean, comfortable with everything Ineeded. She even changed my room to ground floor ( without me having toask) when I said I would take the stairs to my room as I was nervous inlifts. From the moment I arrived the young lady, Emma, on reception could nothave been more helpful and considerate as I was there to attend afuneral. There's a tiny path that will lead you to the University Sports Centre and then to the Orchard Hotel. If you want to get to this hotel from the Broadmarsh Bus Station, take route i4 on bay 4 and get off at the Wollaton Gates bus stop. Surrounded by beautiful gardens to take long walks, and very close to the buildings of the University. Located in the University of Nottingham, Park campus. all reviews ยป Fantastic place if you're attending a conference or any academic event. ![]() A lovely welcome not too effusive as in some hootels just really friendly and relaxing "Matty" booked us in.superb room, the most comfortable bed ive had in a hotel for years, lovely toiletries very very quiet we didnt hear any noise at all at night had a lovely relaxing chilled out break even though we live local and only stopped one night we made the most of it, after a lovely late check out we went walking in uni grounds and into nottm and then walked back to hotel for our car at tea time. ![]()
